Real cash games
How entries are handled — play-money bookkeeping, or real cash on-chain.
Two modes
An entry is collected when you create or join a tournament. Gulag runs in one of two modes:
DefaultBookkeepingNo real money moves. The platform records the entry and settles payouts on the books. Ideal for play-money seasons and testing.
Opt-inReal cashThe entry is a real, on-chain transfer from your wallet, signed by you. Winnings pay out the same way.
When you're playing for real
Heads up
In a real cash game you sign a transfer for your entry before your seat is confirmed. You'll always see the exact amount in your wallet before approving — Gulag never moves funds without your explicit signature.
